From May 3?to 5, Executive Vice President for Research and Head of the Technion Research and Development Foundation Ltd., Professor Wayne Kaplan, and the Director Technology Transfer Office, Mr. Benjamin Soffer visited Shantou, and investigated the construction process of Sino-Israeli Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone. Experts from Israel hoped that with the joint efforts from both parties, the docking of cooperation zone and projects can be accelerated.?
Wayne Kaplan and Benjamin Soffer, together with other experts, visited Sino-Israeli Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone, getting to know the project planning and construction progress, investigating the Ultrasonic-Electronics Group and Jingming Machinery Ltd., and carrying out survey on production-education-research cooperation among corporations and result transformation on science and technology etc. The group also attended the forum held in Yingbin Hotel to listen to the introduction about policy frameworks and industrial docking of the Innovation Cooperation Zone given by relevant government departments and corporations.?
