With the first-year admissions approaching and several rounds of discussion carried out, related preparations have been accelerated by the senior team of GTIIT under the leadership of Chancellor Li Jiange and Vice Chancellor Aaron Ciechanover. Constant improvement has been seen in GTIIT's organization structure, HR regulations and finance regulations, and the progress of North Campus construction, international school establishment and medical service improvement has also been speeded up. Every effort is being made to prepare for the coming semester in August.
Presently, the senior team has reached a consensus on the issues like the admissions plan, selection methods, admission standards, and scholarships, which will be followed by an application to relevant education authorities. It is scheduled to announce the admissions regulations in April and the plan in May.
The construction of the North Campus has been greatly supported by the government. Dorms for students and faculty are planned to be handed over in April and the construction of science and education area is also being accelerated. The municipal Party committee and government has effectively promoted the campus construction and met GTIIT’s requirement for functional facilities to the greatest extent. Especially in the cases of Research Building and Teaching Laboratories,both construction acceleration and cost control are successfully guaranteed.

Chancellor Li Jiange is holding a meeting on the acceleration of the North Campus construction with Mayor Liu Xiaotao, Luo Huifang, Executive Director of LKSF, and Xiao Zeli, Director of International & Special Projects.

Vice Chancellor Aaron Ciechanover visits the 1st and 2nd affiliated hospitals of STU Medical College to know about local medical service for foreign faculty/staff.
