August 25th- Li Jiange, Chairman of the Board of Sun Yefang Economic Science Foundation and Chancellor of GTIIT, attended and gave a keynote speech on the?China Youth Financial?Summit in Beijing which was hosted by National Youth Financial Union. Chancellor Li had a dialogue during the summit with?Thomas J. Sargent, 2011 Nobel Prize Winner in Economics and economic professor from New York University.

During the Fifth National Financial Work Conference held in the middle of July this year, ¡°stabilizing financial environment¡± was the main melody. Serving the real economy, controlling financial risks and deepening financial reform are the three main tasks. The conference in July systematically illustrated that finance should stick to some important principles, like adhering to the origins, optimizing the structure, strengthening supervision and keeping oriented to the market. Financial security and development of real economy have become the core issues of financial work?in China.

In his keynote speech with the themed of ¡°Finance Stability and Development under the New Situation¡±, Chancellor Li reviewed the financial reforms?in China, and reiterated the spirits of the Fifth National Financial Work Conference. Chancellor Li also gave his opinions on Professor Sargent¡¯s speech, and his insights on the development and reform prospect of Chinese economy.

The attendees of the China Youth Financial?Summit are representatives from supervision departments of central and local governments, industrial associations, research institutes, financial sectors and real industry, etc.
