On the morning of Dec. 23, 2017, Mr. Zeng Xianghui, Vice Principal of South Campus of Shantou Jinshan Middle School led a group of 70 members, including teachers and Grade 12 students to visit Guangdong Technion Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) and Shantou University (STU). Mr. Zeng Rui, Director of the Admissions Office of GTIIT, Mr. Chen Yinglin, Director of the Admissions Office of STU, together with the admissions staff of GTIIT and STU warmly welcomed these guests.

Students first watched publicity video clips of GTIIT and STU in a classroom of Education Building E of STU. After the videos, Director Chen and Director Zeng presented the school features and admissions policies of STU and GTIIT to the visitors and also shared some tips about how to face up to stress and perform well under the great pressure of Gaokao. Afterwards, students were divided into two teams to visit the Veritas College, Library and Human Life Science Museum in STU.

After finishing lunch in GTIIT canteen, the delegation was led by staff of GTIIT Admissions Office to watch the exhibitions of "The Birth of GTIIT" and "Technion Wisdom" and to have a short tour in GTIIT campus.

The trip impressed and delighted the students and teachers of South Campus of Shantou Jinshan Middle School. They thought the visit helped them better understand GTIIT and some students wished to be part of GTIIT someday.
